Totally Tangled Creations is an Akron-based artist studio founded by artist and Certified Zentangle Teacher April Couch. Located inside Summit Artspace in downtown Akron, the studio specializes in detailed Zentangle-inspired artwork created through intricate combinations of lines and repeating patterns.
April creates original designs across a wide variety of materials, including paper, wood, metal, stones, ceramics and other functional and decorative objects. Her work extends beyond traditional wall art into pieces designed for everyday living, along with coloring books, ornaments and creative classes.
Her work has also reached some major Akron-area institutions. April reports creating custom designs for Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the Akron Round Table and Akron Zoo, as well as a design celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Akron-Summit County Public Library.
